Who are Scanning Direct?
Scanning Direct was established in 2000 to provide document scanning services to the financial services industry. Since then our reputation for providing a quality service has spread to many other industries.
Based in East Yorkshire we have clients all over the country. Our own purpose built self contained premises has allowed us to expand our business to offer a full range of scanning and document management services.
Confidentiality
Confidentiality is uppermost in all our minds when we discuss document scanning. Whether it is intellectual property or sensitive client information protection of that information is paramount.
At Scanning Direct we pride ourselves on our integrity and all of our staff sign a Declaration of Confidentiality, we are also happy to sign confidentiality agreements with our clients, should they require. Scanning Direct is registered under the Data Protection Act No:Z7065096

Legal Admissibility
Are scanned documents acceptable as evidence in court? The general opinion is that scanned images are likely to be admissible in court, but would be considered as secondary evidence with the same evidential weight as a photocopy.
